Valentina Romania aims to help families improve their living conditions. We often see unsanitary homes with broken roofs and faulty installations. We assist with repairing roofs, bathrooms, floors, masonry, distributing donated furniture, or restoring electrical and plumbing systems.
How does it work?
The social worker conducts an assessment to understand the family’s needs.
She then makes a second visit with the volunteer who will be directly involved.
The volunteer determines the list of necessary materials, the budget (approximately 100 euros), and the team that will carry out the work.
Beneficiary families are involved in the renovation of their own homes and later help the next families on the list.
As a result, families become actively involved in improving their homes and supporting each other, while children benefit from better conditions for their development.
