The year 2013 was marked by the departure, at the end of July, of Xavier and Beatrice de Carmantrand, after 2 years of service to Casa Valentina. The presence of a couple in an environment made up of children and women is a concrete advantage, which gave the center a family spirit. Xavier brought his experience in management but also a masculine presence to the adolescents who often lack paternal support. Béatrice was the soul of the house. Always attentive to the children but also to the employees and volunteers of the House who found in her the calming presence of a mother. Their joy of giving is an example for all the people who knew them. We thank them warmly. Circumstances did not allow us to replace them with another couple, but the arrival of Adina as director of Casa Valentina shows us that it is important to promote a Romanian whose qualities would be recognized by everyone, shortly after her arrival. Fidesco's policy is to pass the torch to a person from the country where possible. The example of Casa Valentina shows that this is a success.
Fidesco continues to support this project with all its experience in project management but also from a financial point of view. The exchange of experience is rich; this is the result of everything Fidesco strives to do in its involvement in Valentina Romania
