Thanks to the involvement of our partner, OMV Petrom, 60 children from Ferentari have access to education. Throughout the 2023-2024 school year, they helped from enrolling children in state kindergartens with extended hours, to providing the 60 school bags full of school supplies, to paying for the daily hot meal, to the quarterly distribution of hygiene products or paying for medical prescriptions for children.
The complete program offered by OMV Petrom to the little ones, aged between 3 and 6, distributed in 7 state kindergartens in sector 5, helped both the families through direct financial contribution and the children to have a real chance at quality education.
At the end of the school year, 28 children were enrolled in grade zero to continue their studies, and we will then choose other children who will benefit from help for early education.
