Our crowdfunding campaign on Ulule was a successful initiative! With 120 mobilized donors, not only private individuals but also sponsors such as the company Doc Process, we collected the necessary money for the purchase of school supplies and hygiene kits for the 100 children of our education program. On September 11, 2017, the back-to-school day in Romania, both young and old came visited the “Casa Valentina” to discover their school supplies: 60 bags for kindergarten children and 40 bags for young people aged from 7 to 17, with pens, erasers and pencils stored in the pencil cases made by the mothers of our MIA sewing workshop. Since then, they come every day to do their homework at the Casa under the benevolence of the volunteer supervisors.

The distribution of hygiene kits took place on September 19th. The kit includes soap, shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, a towel sponge made by MIA insertion workshop moms, and detergent. All the necessary to ensure a decent hygiene to the whole family.THANK YOU to all the donors for their trust and solidarity with the children, who have been able to resume school in good conditions in 2017!
