Our aim

Valentina Romania wishes to help the families so that their daily life at home is better. It is not rare to see a home without healthy living conditions, a leaking roof, bad plumbing... Valentina Romania helps with: redoing roofs, bathrooms, floors, repainting, bringing furniture, plumbing...

How it works

• the social assistants make a social inquiry and understand the needs
• the social assistants determine what supplies are needed and who will do the work
• family beneficiaries are involved to help the next family with the work
• the social assistants supervise the work process
• the budget per job is around 100 euros maximum

Results

• the families get involved in making their own homes better
• families help other families, it isn’t all about themselves
• children live in conditions that are healthier and more comfortable
• it teaches responsibility and new skills
